Ron Morosan: Circular Causality
“Art is still the only uncharted and uncategorized language of human expression, and the meaning of that language is only beginning to be understood.”
– Ron Morosan
Westwood Gallery NYC is pleased to present Circular Causality, curated by James Cavello. The exhibition explores reality as a continuous exchange between perception, experience, and environment through recent paintings by Ron Morosan, an American artist, writer, educator, and curator. Over four decades, Morosan has developed a distinctive visual language that brings geometric forms, ambiguous figures, and disparate cultural references into layered, open-ended compositions. His paintings create a space of exchange between artist, artwork, and viewer, where associations emerge, shift, and give way to new possibilities. Rather than directing the viewer toward a fixed meaning, Morosan’s work invites an active process of looking and interpretation, in which meaning remains fluid and each encounter offers the potential for new connections.
