Will Insley American, 1929-2011

Will Insley, Mythological Elsewhere, from ONECITY, 1970s-1990s presented a solo exhibition of paintings, sculptures, and photomontages visualizing Will Insley's abstract project ONECITY.

Will Insley: Foundations of ONECITY presented a group exhibition of six large-scale modular paintings by Will Insley and a portfolio of ten artists on the Bowery.

Will Insley: Foundations ONECITY is the artist's first exhibition following his death in 2011. It features large paintings that preface his abstract civilization project, ONECITY.

On the Bowery presented an exhibition of the artist portfolio, On the Bowery (1971) including ten silkscreens by: Cy Twombly, Robert Ryman, Will Insley, Robert Indiana, Les Levine, John Willenbecher, Charles Hinman, Richard Smith, Gerald Laing, and John Giorno.

Will Insley: ONECITY presented a solo exhibition of paintings, drawings and photo-montage devoted to Insley's 675 square mile abstract city buried the the North American Plains.
