In October, LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton announced plans for a Frank Gehry-designed Louis Vuitton Foundation for Creation to stage special exhibits, which is slated to open in 2010. Tonight, the company will make another foray into the arts, this time at its Fifth Avenue flagship, where two specially commissioned pieces by Olafur Eliasson will be unveiled at a party and dinner hosted by LVMH chief Bernard Arnault and Yves Carcelle, Louis Vuitton’s chairman and chief executive officer.
