Westwood Gallery NYC's exhibition of photographs by Leo Matiz was featured on All About Photo. The exhibition, currently on view in the lower-level gallery, presents 30 photographs of Mexican modernist artists by Colombian photographer Leo Matiz. Juxtaposing intimate portraits Frida Kahlo and David Alfaro Siqueiros, Mythmakers highlights Matiz’s nuanced approach to portraiture and the medium of photography as it relates to contemporary artistic movements in postwar Mexico.
