This recent exhibition was the first U.S. survey of works by Colombian-born photographer Leo Matiz. Curated by James Cavello, the show featured 60 photographs spanning six decades. A slightly altered version of an exhibition that debuted last winter at the Art Museum of the Americas, Washington DC, the show included several vitrines containing documentary material, such as newspaper clippings and a selection of cameras that Matiz used over the years.
