“The response to the Absolut Book exhibition was overwhelming and seemed to transcend all boundaries, whether a person was an art appreciator or a sophisticated art connoisseur,” noted James Cavello, who with his partner in Westwood Gallery, Margarite Aleida, has traveled the world an organized award-winning cultural exhibitions for foreign governments and participated in numerous international art events. “All age groups were represented and most interesting was the tremendous number of young people who have been part of the Absolut ad collecting phenomenon. As they walked into the gallery and oohed and aahed, as only young people could, when they came upon something considered ‘cool’ in their culture. The younger generation was drawn to the artwork and joyous at being close to the real art.”
