Japan Art Alliance is a group show of 20 mostly emerging Japanese artists chosen by a Tokyo arts organization. The idea is to give these artists an opportunity to show in New York, and to give New Yorkers an opportunity to see the work.
Our evening will begin in SoHo where we will meet at 6:00 at the Drawing Center. From there we will go to Westwood Gallery and visit two artists in their studios for our behind the scenes look at SoHo’s art community. Participants are invited to ask questions and share a dialogue with the artists. The evening will conclude with the group having dinner at Mexican Radio.
