Norwegian artist Elling Reitan will be exhibiting in London for the first time in April 2008. A collection of his oil paintings will be exhibited at the Westbrook Gallery in London, while his prints and glassware will simultaneously be on show at The Norwegian Church in Rotherhithe.
Reitan made his debut in 1984 and has since then exhibited in over 100 individual and collective exhibitions around the world, including the USA (where he is permanently represented by the Westwood Gallery in New York), Japan, Denmark, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Canada and Belgium. Collectors of his works include HM Queen Sonja of Norway, Victoria and David Beckham, and the Norway Cultural Council.
The exhibition at the Westbrook Gallery in London, opening on April 10, will include more than 20 oil paintings and watercolors together with a selection of prints. A separate exhibition of his prints and glassware will be on at The Norwegian Church from 13 April.
The exhibitions will run until April 24, 2008
