Boris Lurie: Nothing To Do But Try

Boris Lurie: Nothing To Do But To Try is currently on view at the Zekelman Holocaust Center through December 5. The exhibition showcases Lurie’s War Series—early works that powerfully depict the artist's experiences as a teenager surviving the Holocaust. Hailed as a "stunning exhibition" by the Detroit Free Press, Nothing To Do But Try features nearly sixty paintings, drawings, and sculptures are on view alongside materials from Lurie’s personal archive.

 

The exhibition is on view  from July 24  through December 5, 2025.
